Hi! I’m Art Manning
I have taught secondary science from a biblical perspective for many years. I have also visited many amazing places on six continents, and, due to my interest in petrified wood, have visited many sites where it can be seen and/or collected.
Ark Trek is a picture book about a family’s trip to the Noah’s Ark exhibit in the heartland, resulting in amazing dreams by the kids about the journey of some animals on their way to Noah’s Ark. You’ll see my love of language in this book, but don’t worry; a dictionary of unusual words is in the back.
I also wrote a book, All the Way My Savior Leads Me, detailing how I came to know Jesus Christ and lots of wonderful ways He has blessed me through the years since I first met Him. I have also written several articles and pamphlets about God’s creation, and I give presentations on many aspects of the relationship between the Bible and science.
My first book, Petrified Wood in the U.S.A. describes and includes photos of many of these places.
